Contemplative Retreat in English: Praying in silence with the name Jesus Christ

One way of contemplative prayer is to turn silently to God by speaking inwardly the name Jesus Christ. In silence, a space of experience opens up for the presence of God, which can also give everyday life a new quality of orientation towards God and inner peace.

Elements of the course:

• continuous silence
• awareness exercises
• introduction to meditation according to the steps of Fr. Franz Jalics SJ
• common meditation times
• spiritual impulses
• exchange of experiences in the group
• time for walking
• opportunity for individual conversation
